Switch Seamlessly With Progresif e-Sim
Progresif eSIM was launched in January 2024, elevating customer experience in the telco industry. eSIM technology or service is specifically designed for devices that are equipped with eSIM capabilities, enabling customers to switch between mobile plans effortlessly. With its streamlined eSIM activation process, switching will ensure customers a hassle-free and quick setup through their eSIM compatible device. By embracing the latest advancements in telecommunications, Progresif aims to enhance the overall user experience and address the evolving needs of its diverse customer base.
DING! Makes It's Debut
Progresif launched its new cashless payment feature Ding! in July 2024. Integrated within the Progresif Care+ app, Ding! is a digital wallet that enables payment without needing a traditional bank account. Users can top up their wallets with prepaid credit or by charging their postpaid bill. Ding! also supports instant scan-and-pay transactions via a global QR standard.
For merchants, Ding! offers a comprehensive dashboard that consolidates all business data in one place. This feature enables merchants to track their sales activities and transactions efficiently. Ding! also supports multi-user roles allowing businesses to identify and monitor different performance metrics. Merchants gain clear insights into their net revenue and overall business performance, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions.
Progresif’s Ding! Merchant app is designed to simplify, streamline, and elevate MSME operations. Progresif welcomes merchants to experience how the app can enhance their digital payment experience and customer interactions.
Ding! has been named the winner in the Banking, Insurance & Finance category at the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards in December 2024. This prestigious achievement is a testament to Progresif’s dedication to innovation and excellence, reinforcing their commitment to transforming the digital finance landscape.
To drive awareness and adoption of the Ding! app, Progresif has been conducting financial literacy talks at institutions and schools throughout 2024 and 2025.
These sessions aim to educate students on smart financial management while encouraging them to embrace their e-Wallet for daily transactions. Most recently, they have also collaborated with Big BWN for Ramadan’s Sahur Saturday, where over 20 vendors actively utilised Ding! e-Wallet for seamless payment transactions. This initiative highlights how Ding! isn’t just for established retail stores—it empowers small businesses, pop-up vendors, and event organisers to offer a fast, secure, and cashless payment experience anywhere.
Progresif has also aligned Ding! with the National Digital Payment Hub, known as tarus, serving as a platform to promote digital transactions and create a conducive business ecosystem in Brunei by enabling seamless, secure, and efficient cashless transactions for businesses and consumers alike.
A Secure Digital Future
In light of the rise in cybersecurity threats, Progresif in September 2024 announced its partnership with ST Engineering in providing Security Operations Centre (SOC) services. The collaboration marks a significant milestone in Brunei’s journey towards enhanced digital security.
“Our collaboration with STE Infosec aligns perfectly with Brunei’s vision for a secure digital future. By joining forces, we are strengthening our nation’s cyber defenses and fostering innovation and growth in the local technology sector,” said CEO of Progresif Hajah Nurul Haniah binti Haji Jaafar during the signing ceremony.
In January 2025, Progresif hosted Enterprise Showcase which was officially launched by Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Info Communications Ir Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof and was attended by over two hundred guests from the public and private sectors. Progresif’s role in providing SOC services was highlighted once again during the launch of Progresif Enterprise Showcase. She affirmed that Progresif is “open for business” and ready to support organisations in securing networks and ensuring business continuity.
“Securing networks and ensuring business continuity has never been more critical. Progresif will play a central role in advancing the nation’s agenda on cybersecurity, enhancing understanding and the implementation of effective cybersecurity measures among local organisations,” she said.
