MSU houses the Faculty of Health and Life

Sciences, Faculty of Business Management and

Professional Studies, Faculty of Information

Sciences and Engineering; as well as the

International Medical School, School of

Pharmacy, School of Education and Social

Sciences, School of Hospitality and Creative

Arts, School of Graduate Studies, Graduate

School of Management and the Centre for

Fundamental Studies.

Their foundation, undergraduate and postgradu-

ate programmes are accredited by the Malaysian

Qualifications Agency, assuring quality educa-

tion for all.

Vision

Transform lives and enrich future – this is the

vision MSU carries through its holistic and

experiential education. MSU’s faculty of local

and international academics, visiting professors,

and adjunct lecturers delivers a compelling

learning experience.

The university provides flexible lifelong learning;

developing well-rounded graduates and champi-

ons in innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the 2019 QS ranking, MSU was awarded

the highest 5-star rating in teaching, facilities,

graduate employability, social responsibility and

inclusiveness. MSU welcomes students from all

around the world.

Focus on Graduate Employability

A student’s journey does not stop when

they graduate. In a competitive job market,

employability is made up of many factors and

one of them is education. To make their students

stand out from the crowd, MSU prepares

their students with global exposure through

internships abroad.

According to the Ministry of Higher Education

Malaysia in 2018, 98.6 per cent of MSU alumni

are hired within six months of graduation. With

this achievement, MSU ranks first on the national

graduate employability register.

With MSU’s University-Industry Advisory

Panel (UIAP) and JobMatch Portal, the partner

industries are onboard with MSU’s focus on

graduate employability.

tutions in over 40 countries worldwide, MSU

provides opportunities through the following

The extent of MSU’s recognition expands

beyond Malaysia. They are the first university to

be recognised outside of Japan by the Alliance

on Business Education and Scholarship for

Tomorrow. They are also the first Malaysian

university to be awarded International Centre of

Excellence by the Asia Pacific Institute of Events

Management (APIEM) in 2017.

In addition, MSU received recognitions from

the UK’s Accreditation Service for International

Schools, Colleges and Universities. Their awards

include the Excellence in Quality International

Education and Outstanding Contribution to

International Education in 2017, as well as the

Global Technical and Vocational Education

and Training (TVET) Model University with

Outstanding Leadership in International TVET

Education in 2018.

With the Global TVET award, MSU received the

Validated Award Centre Status from ASIQUAL,

an awarding body based in the UK.
