Shopping

Bruneians are known to be enthusiastic shoppers,

constantly on the lookout for the best deals

at various shopping malls. The country’s high

GDP per capita, combined with the absence of

income tax, has led to Bruneians having a high

disposable income compared to other economies

in the region. Driven by the strong consumer

culture, several new commercial hubs have been

established in recent years to meet the nation’s

retail demands.
