BUILDING A FINANCIALLY
LITERATE SOCIETY
Beyond the TAIB Group Showcase,
Perbadanan TAIB and its group of companies
actively reach out to young people through
financial literacy programmes conducted in
schools, universities, and corporate settings
assuring essential knowledge is accessible
to learners at every stage.
The Group also participates in major national
events such as the Consumer Fair, MSME
Festival, and Higher Education Expo. This
creates opportunities for the younger
generation to explore how financial planning
including takaful and insurance can support
their future goals.
To stay connected with today’s digital
learners, the Group shares educational
content across social media. Topics include
security awareness, adopting digital
solutions in daily life, and smart ways to save
with the Group’s financial offerings.
At the heart of these efforts is a clear
mission: to empower the next generationwith
the confidence, awareness, and practical
skills they need to make informed financial
decisions and build a secure, successful
future. The Group recognises that financial
literacy is not just about understanding
products and services, but also cultivating
a mindset of responsibility, foresight, and
strategic planning that will serve individuals
throughout their lives.
PEOPLE: THE GROUP’S
GREATEST ASSET
The Group regularly conducts wellness
programmes, talks, and engagement
activities in addition to dedicated days for
sport and healthy lifestyle activities. A key
initiative supporting work-life balance is
the weekly healthy Friday organised within
respective companies.
The annual inter-house sports tournament,
TGOC Sports, is a multisport series held
throughout the year. Employees from
across the group are grouped into houses
and participate in friendly, year-round
competitions such as futsal, badminton,
netball and bowling to foster teamwork,
camaraderie, and stronger internal
relationships.
These events not only strengthen
camaraderie but also build communication,
unity, and cross company relationships
across all levels of staff and management.
The Group also has dedicated teambuilding
corporate events outside of the office
environment that promote trust, improve
communication and nurture idea sharing.
