Employees Package Protector Insurance

Protecting Your Employees and Business

Protecting your employees is more than a

legal responsibility. It is essential to ensure

the well-being of your workforce while also

maintaining the stability of your business.

Offered by National Insurance Company

Berhad, the

Employees Package Protector

is a comprehensive insurance package

designed to provide robust protection for

employees against unforeseen accidents,

medical expenses, and other employment-

related risks. By investing in this coverage,

employers can foster a confident, secure

workforce while maintaining peace of mind

that their business is safeguarded.

The package offers seven key sections of

coverage, each tailored to provide reliable

financial support in the event of injury,

disability, or death arising from incidents

that occur in the course of employment.

WORKMEN’S

COMPENSATION ACT

COVERAGE

The first section aligns with the Workmen’s

Compensation Act, Chapter 74 (Laws of

Brunei Revised Edition 1984), offering

statutory compensation for employees

who sustain bodily injury due to accidents

or occupational diseases. Coverage includes

death benefits of BND 28,800, permanent

disablement of BND 36,000.

Compensation for other injuries or

disablements as assessed by the Labour

Department.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT

PROTECTION

Accidents can happen at any time, which

is why this section provides a lump sum

payment of BND10,000 per accident for

bodily injuries sustained by the insured

employee. This ensures immediate financial

support during unexpected circumstances.

MEDICAL EXPENSES

(ACCIDENT-RELATED)

To ease the burden of medical costs, the

policy covers up toBND5,000.00 per accident

for medical treatment resulting from injuries

sustained in accidents.

REPATRIATION EXPENSES

For businesses employing foreign workers,

repatriation coverage provides financial

assistance for returning the insured to their

home country in cases of serious injury,

permanent disablement, or death, with a

maximum payout of BND7,500.

DAILY HOSPITAL INCOME

BENEFIT

Upon hospitalisation, the insured employee

shall be entitled to a daily allowance

of BND20.00 for each complete day of

confinement in a hospital, offering ongoing

support during recovery.

HOSPITAL & SURGICAL

EXPENSES

This Section shall indemnify the insured

against reasonable and necessary hospital

and surgical expenses incurred as a result of

confinement due to injury or illness, subject

to an annual aggregate limit of BND100,000

and a per admission limit of BND30,000 or

BND10,000.
