IHH Healthcare Berhad, one of the world’s largest healthcare operators
— Gleneagles JPMC combines global expertise with local commitment,
positioning itself as a leader in advanced medical care in the region.
The one-stop centre for Cardiac Care
As part of its commitment to national wellness, Gleneagles
JPMC has also been presenting contributions to MoH to
fund the implementation of healthy lifestyle initiatives. Their
latest contribution brings Gleneagles JPMC’s total donations
over the years to more than BND1.5 million.
Gleneagles JPMC is proud to have consistently contributed
to theWorkplace andHealth (WAH), theHappy Environment
and Lifestyle (HEAL), and theGrowing, Learning, Optimising
Towards BetterWell-Being in Schools (GLOW) Programmes.
Since its 2019 launch, the WAH programme has engaged
over 25,000 civil servants in health screenings and 700
workout activities. Meanwhile, the community-focused
HEAL programme, established in 2022, has engaged nearly
4,000 participants in wellness activities. The newer GLOW
programme targets a younger audience, empowering over
18 schools to implement comprehensive health-promoting
programmes.
By bringing awareness and encouraging timely action,
Gleneagles JPMC hopes to save more lives and reduce
the burden of cardiovascular disease in Brunei. Prevention
remains the strongest line of defence, followed by early
detection and prompt treatment.
