Jerudong International School

Jerudong International School (JIS) is an academically

selective, fully accredited, thriving boarding school

occupying a 120-acre coastal campus. JIS is one of the 120

schools to be accredited by British Schools Overseas, with

1,650 students from 55 countries.

JIS offers a British International Curriculum, preparing

students for A-levels, General Certificate of Secondary

Education (GCSE) and International General Certificate of

Secondary Education (IGCSE). The school also offers the

International Baccalaureate Diploma. They are a member

of the prestigious UK Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’

Conference (HMC), Council of British International Schools

(COBIS), Federation of British International Schools in Asia

(FOBISIA) and Boarding Schools Association (BSA), as well

as recognised by The Good Schools Guide for being an

The school’s motto is “achieving excellence” and the school

UK Junior Mathematical Olympiad, scoring 105 out of 135.

In September 2018, JIS once again won the prestigious

Secondary Geography Quality Mark for their teaching

methods in Geography, awarded by the Geographical

Association in the UK.

As the leading British international school in Asia, JIS

has excellent examination results leading students to the

world’s best universities. Many JIS graduates continue

their studies abroad such as UK (Cambridge University,

London School of Economics and Political Science and

Imperial College London), USA (Berkeley University),

Australia (Australian National University and Melbourne

University) and Canada (University of British Columbia and

University of Toronto).
