HALAL INDUSTRY

The Muslim population is expected to grow reaching up to

two fifth of the world’s total population. This is where Brunei

comes in with their stringent Halal certification process. For

foreign corporations seeking to establish trust and credibility

among the global Islamic community, Brunei’s stringent Halal

certification process might just be what they need.

With the potential to be a Halal hub in the region, Brunei’s

reputation for strong Islamic traditions and governance

further strengthens its credibility in the Halal industry. In

addition, Brunei offers no personal income tax and no value

added tax, with zero corporate income tax for a registered

pioneer status. By 2025, the global Halal food industry is

expected to be worth USD2.10 trillion.
