This was followed by a further telecast in 2019 to the ASEAN
Federation of Cardiology Congress (AFCC) 2019.
In November 2020, Gleneagles JPMC earned the Joint
Commission International’s Gold Seal of Approval for Hospital
Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with
its internationally recognised standards. The Gold Seal of
Approval is a symbol of quality that re ects an organisation’s
commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.
In order to serve the public better, Gleneagles JPMC
commissioned the new Philips Azurion Bi-plane Angiography
System in 2020. The commissioning of this new system
supports its commitment to continuously upgrade its facilities,
improve its services and provide the highest level of care to
residents of Brunei Darussalam and the region.
Specialists from Gleneagles JPMC and cardiologists from the
Ministry of Health have regular meetings to discuss cases to
ensure that there is consensus for the best treatment options
for cardiac patients.
Gleneagles JPMC also invites independent clinical auditors
to review its interventional cardiology and surgical cases and
outcomes on an annual basis. This is to ensure that its clinical
management is in line with international best practice.
The one-stop centre for Cardiac Care, Gleneagles JPMC is a joint
venture between IHH Healthcare Berhad, the world’s second
largest listed healthcare operator, and the Government of
Brunei Darussalam.
