skilled citizens. By offering internationally

recognised qualifications and promoting

lifelong

learning,

LCB

contributes

meaningfully to the development of a

competent workforce that meets global

standards.

One of LCB’s key strengths lies in its

extensive international study pathways,

which provide students with direct access to

prestigious universities worldwide. Students

may progress from diploma and higher

diploma programmes at LCB into second or

final-year degree programmes at renowned

institutions in the UK, Switzerland, and other

global destinations. LCB’s international

partners include the University of Essex (UK),

University College Birmingham (accredited

by the University of Warwick), and the

Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland.

LCB has received notable recognition for

its educational excellence. The institution

was named Brunei Centre of the Year

2024 by the IAB Group and has produced

over 6,000 graduates since its inception.

Since introducing undergraduate degree

programmes in 2017, LCB has produced 123

First-Class Honours graduates. It was also

the first college in Brunei to receive ASIC

Global Accreditation and is recognised by

the Institute of Travel & Tourism, the only

professional membership body dedicated to

upholding high standards within the travel

and tourism industry.

Further strengthening its academic

standing, LCB recently secured Associate

International Membership with the Quality

Assurance Agency for Higher Education

(QAA) for the 2025–2026 term. The

QAA is the UK’s trusted quality body for

higher education, working nationally and

internationally to safeguard academic

standards and enhance the quality of

learning. This milestone reflects LCB’s

ongoing commitment to quality assurance,

continuous improvement, and alignment

with internationally recognised academic

benchmarks.

Welcoming new intakes in March and

September each year, LCB offers flexible

admission cycles to accommodate diverse

academic plans. With a strong focus on

student support, employability, and global

readiness, Laksamana College of Business

continues to be a leading choice for higher

education in Brunei Darussalam and beyond.
