The company operates based on the Capability
Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), an
international best practice framework ensuring
customer satisfaction at all levels. CMMI is a
capability improvement framework that provides
organisations with the essential elements of
effective processes that ultimately improve their
performance. In 2020, Dynamik was successfully
appraised at Level 3 of CMMI® Institute’s CMMI
V2.0 Benchmark Model which is the third time
running that the company has been rated at CMMI
Maturity Level 3.
An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the
organisation is performing at a “defined” level.
At this level, processes are well characterised
and understood, and are described in standards,
procedures, tools, and methods. Dynamik is the
first and only company in Brunei to be appraised
for CMMI and the first in the region to undergo
the CMMI V2.0 Benchmark Model. This appraisal
puts the company on par with global software
development companies.

For the past 15 years, SE has been supporting its
clients in lowering their carbon footprint. At the
same time, SE optimises business operations and
helps more than 24 million people gain access
to electricity. In 2019, SE helped its clients save
more than 70 million tonnes of carbon dioxide,
and carbon dioxide efficiency in transportation
improved by 8.8 per cent.
At the recent United Nations Climate Change
Conference, SE reaffirmed its ambition to be a
role model in the fight against climate change.

Operating since 2001, Dynamik Technologies
was formerly known as BAG Networks, a joint
venture between the Brunei Government and
Accenture. In 2018, BAG Networks officially
rebranded to Dynamik Technologies and is now
fully owned by the government as one of the
largest IT companies in the country.
Aside from its literal definition as “a force of
positive energy, change and progress”, the
name Dynamik is actually made up of ‘D’ and an
anagram of “MINYAK” (the Malay word for ‘oil’).
“D” is in honour of “Darussalam”, the Abode of
Peace, as well as to highlight the importance
